FLORAL HONEY FROM GREEK NATURE

Floral honey, with light taste, wonderful aroma and light amber color, is gathered from a wide variety of wildflowers, citrus and tea blossoms from the Greek nature. It is rich in minerals and trace elements (calcium, magnesium, zinc, iron, copper, etc.), while it contains pollen remnants. It crystallizes faster than other types of honey because of its high glucose content. Of course, a honey that crystallizes faster does not in any way mean that it is inferior. Ideal for replacing sugar in all beverages.

THYME HONEY FROM ARGOLIS

Thyme honey, with strong taste, excellent aroma and light amber color, is harvested from thyme blossoms and a wide variety of herbs in Argolis. It is considered a honey of great nutritional value, as it contains essential oil whose main component is thymol, which has antiseptic action and has been a natural predecessor of modern antibiotics. Thyme honey begins to crystallize after 9 months, but its crystallization may delay significantly if the honey has a high thyme concentration, reaching even 2 years. Ideal for cooking.

PINE HONEY FROM EUBOEA

Pine honey, with full bodied taste, extremely viscous and unsweetened due to its low glucose concentration, and light pearl color, is collected from the honeydew of the pine trees in northern Euboea. It crystallizes relatively slowly, as its natural glucose concentration is low. It is considered honey of high nutritional value, as it contains many minerals and trace elements (calcium, magnesium, zinc, iron, copper, etc).

OAK & CHESTNUT HONEY FROM PINDOS

Oak & Chestnut honey, with strong, slightly bitter taste, chestnut scent, and dark color, is collected from chestnut blossoms and oak honeydews from the mountains of Pindos. It is the only honey created by natural blending of chestnut nectar and oak honeydew, because of the simultaneous appearance of both. It does not crystallize easily, because of its low glucose concentration. Perfect for accompanying yoghurt for a light dessert.

HEATHER HONEY FROM ANDROS

Heather honey, with strong taste, delicate scent, creamy texture, and pearl color, is collected from the blossoms of heather plant that grows in the mountains of North Andros. It is considered to be one of the most significant honeys for both bees and humans, because of its rich nutritional value. It crystallizes very quickly (2 to 3 months) due to its high natural glucose concentration, and therefore can not be mixed with other honeys. A full spoon is recommended each morning for energy.

FIR HONEY FROM MOUNTAINOUS NAFPAKTIA

Fir honey, with full bodied taste, extremely viscous and unsweetened, with a relatively dark color, is collected by the honeydew of fir trees in Mountainous Nafpaktia. It is considered to be one of the rarest and most expensive varieties of honey, as it never crystallizes because of its low glucose concentration. It is rich in trace elements (potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, iron, etc). It contains vitamins in very small amounts, but even this small amount helps in the better assimilation of sugars by the human body. A full spoon is recommended each morning for energy.
