BAVETTE WITH PRAWNS, FETA CHEESE AND HONEY

Ingredients (for 2 people):

• 8 whole shrimps No.1

• 12 diced feta cheese

• 1 onion

• half a packet of bavette

• 300 g cream

• 3 tablespoon of honey

• a little white wine

• a little olive oil

• Salt and pepper

Preparation:

• Peel the prawns and leave only the tail on

• Mash the heads in a saucepan, add water and a little white wine and bring to the boil. Strain and keep stock aside.

• Sauté the prawns in a pan with the onion then pour in a little white wine. Add a little stock and sauté a little longer then add the cream and honey.

• Boil the bavettes in water with a little oil, the remaining stock, salt and pepper

• Add the bavette and the diced feta cheese in the pan. Turn them around once and serve

SALMON WITH HONEY

Ingredients:

• 2 salmon fillets

• 2 large onions

• 1 lemon juice

• Gin

• 1 tablespoon of honey

• Salt, pepper

Preparation:

• Wash the salmon fillets

• Put in a large ovenproof dish and sprinkle with some gin

• Heat lemon juice with the honey in a small pot and stir

• Pour over the salmon fillets

• After seasoning the salmon, slice the onions and place them onto the fillets

• Bake for about one hour at 180 degrees

SOLES IN POUCHES

Ingredient:

• 4 soles ​​(whole peeled)

• 3 tablespoons of sweet mustard

• 1 tablespoon of honey

• 2 tablespoons of white wine

• 1 tablespoon of various pepper grains

• 1 tablespoon of marjoram

• 1 tablespoon of salt

• 2 baking sheets

• 2 pieces of string

Preparation:

• Mix mustard, honey, wine and salt until you get a nice, smooth texture

• Add marjoram and pepper, stir gently and leave a little time to obtain their aroma

• Place two soles ​​at the center of each baking sheet and coat them with the prepared mixture

• Tie each baking sheet with the string into a pouch

• Put the 2 pouches in a baking tray adding a little water

• Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 20 minutes

CHICKEN WITH HONEY AND SESAME SEEDS

Ingredients:

• 1 chicken cut into bite-size pieces

• 1 small bottle of soy sauce

• half a cup lemon juice

• half cup honey

• 4-5 potatoes cut into small cubes

• a little oil

• plenty of sesame seeds

Preparation (the night before):

Prepare the mixture to marinate the chicken overnight:

• Pour the soy sauce in a saucepan. Mix the honey and lemon and add to the saucepan.

• Mix well, then add the chicken

• Make sure the chicken is covered in this mixture

• Cover the saucepan and keep in the fridge overnight

Next day:

• Place the chicken on a baking tray. Soak the potato cubes in the remaining mixture and soak for 5 minutes. (Do not throw away the mixture, you'll need it later).

• Add the potatoes, some oil, and some of the mixture

• Cook until potatoes and chicken are tender. During cooking, keep adding what is left of the mixture, as needed.

• We do not add salt, pepper or any other spices or herbs

CHICKEN WITH PEPPERS AND HONEY

Ingredients:

• 1 chicken

• 1 onion

• Olive oil

• 2 tsp mustard

• 1-2 oranges (juice)

• 1 lemon (juice)

• honey

• 1 tbsp of soy sauce

• Salt - Pepper

• Rosemary

• 3 peppers (green - red – orange) sliced

• 1 tomato cut in quarters

Preparation:

• Wash the chicken, cut into pieces and season it

• coat it with honey

Make a cold sauce by mixing orange and lemon juice together with the soy

• Stir fry the chicken and onions in olive oil.

Add the peppers and the cold sauce and stir well.

Add the rosemary and the tomato quarters.

• Cook at low heat (for approx. half an hour)

If desired you can cook for another 10 minutes in the oven in a casserole.

Cook's tips:

• The honey will make the chicken crispier and the casserole will give it a nicer aroma

• Also very tasty with chicken wings or thighs, or even chicken breasts

• Serve with rice, French-fries or mashed potatoes

SPICY TURKEY CHOPS

Ingredients:

• 4-5 turkey chops

• 4-5 tbsp mustard

• Oregano

• Salt - Pepper

• 1 tbsp honey

• 1 large lemon (juice)

• Oil

Preparation:

• Mix above ingredients to a paste and brush chops on both sides, place in a baking tray, add the oil and a small amount of water and bake in the oven for approx. an hour. (medium temperature)=

PORK CHOPS WITH MUSTARD, HONEY AND MUSHROOMS

Ingredients:

• 2 pork chops into bite-size pieces

• 3-4 tbsp mustard

• 3-4 tbsp honey
